After celebrations in Tallinn, SmartSaver investors opened Birthday Vaults in unprecedented numbers, and those investments pushed us to make our biggest charitable donation yet. And three lucky Vault owners won our birthday bonus draw.
You invested
SmartSaver’s Birthday Vaults came in 3-month and 12-month options this year, and you grabbed them both:
- There were over 1,250 12-month Vaults opened
- There were nearly 700 3-month Vaults opened
- And nearly €12 million was invested in total during the birthday week
In January, our 3-month investors will see around €140k paid out in returns, and next year, as our birthday rolls around again, there’ll be over €500k paid out in returns.
Not a bad gift to have unwrapped.
Who won the prize draw
Three lucky investors, who added over €10,000 to to their 12-month Birthday Vaults, won a lovely birthday bonus, with an extra €500 added to their Vaults. They were:
- Jaume, from Spain
- Andreas, from Germany
- And Christian, also from Germany

And you donated
Thanks to your fantastic investments during our birthday week, we were also able to more than double our charitable donation to UNICEF.
Our pledge was to donate €1,000 for every €1 million invested in SmartSaver during the birthday week, and as nearly €12 million was invested we thought we’d round it up.
We donated €12,000 to help children across the world gain access to critical humanitarian and developmental aid.
