When paying by card can make sense
Paying with a credit card may make sense when the provider accepts card payments, the amount is within your available limit, and you know how you will repay it.
It can be useful when:
- you need to book before prices change
- the travel cost is planned
- you can repay before or shortly after the trip
- Apple Pay or Google Pay is useful while travelling
- you want a virtual card for online bookings
The key is to match the payment method to the size and urgency of the cost. If the amount is too large to repay comfortably, a different option may be more suitable.
